New Holland tc29 hour meter wont work

I have a TC29 and all of the gauges work including the Tach except the hour meter. Anyone have any ideas on what might be up? I am assuming that it is driven off of the same pulse's from the alternator that run the Tach. Does anyone know if the Hour meter can be removed and replaced with out replacing the whole gauge cluster?

Not sure about the NH but my Kubota is mechanically driven with a flex cable. If yours is, it could have broke.

Thanks for the reply, the TC29 doesnt have a cable and is all electronic based on pulses from the alternator but I wished it had a good old easy to work on cable!

I now see your tach works. My bad. Obviously a simple wiring issue or failed meter. You can purchase an aftermarket meter for about $20 if all else fails.

No my Tach still is not working but thanks for the suggestion on getting an aftermarket one and installing it, If I cant get the factory one to work I might do that
