If you are looking for opinions, I would say yes. For a host of reasons.

Congrats. I've well over a thousand tons in my loader with the shuttle. It works if you are careful not to ride the clutch, but HST is definitely better due to the fine control and easy back and forth. Enjoy and be safe.
