Why does the ability to edit a post go away?

Any way to correct an older post?

You can ask a moderator to edit it after the time expires (usually about 12 hours), or its just best to quote the post you want to edit and add the changes under the quote, that way also the post goes to the top so people will see the edit.

Here's one way.

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the first page of a forum to find a listing pf moderators; e.g. News/Feedback.
2. Check their profiles to determine who is online.
3. Send a PM to an online moderator.

A simpler way is to click on the "Report Post" button (

) found in the bottom left corner of every post and put a note in there. Then it goes to all the moderators.
