So freewookie it looks like Rick got a cab for $2300 in Canada! Now I'am quite confused. My CK35 has 704 hrs, 2 1/2 yrs old.

Consider exchange rate his was roughly $24k US. Still a smoking deal but lots of variable considering two different geographic regions. So freewookie it looks like Rick got a cab for $2300 in Canada! Now I'am quite confused. My CK35 has 704 hrs, 2 1/2 yrs old. Bob

Worked out well for you.My dealer sells mainly open station CK's. This DK40 was a test for him that he says "failed miserably". So I believe I was the recipient of an opportunity. He had this tractor on his lot from May 2012 til April 2013.
Well, I got a cab model, and I dont know the price difference to the open station model. However, Mine was $25,375 with free loader, 2nd remote, centre hook welded on bucket and all the filters for my first 50 hr change.
Heck of a deal. Ive been quoted 23500 for DK45 HST, FEL, R4 open cab.
I picked up my Kioti DK40SE HST today with an extra remote on the rear for a total of 2 and the R4's filled and hooks on the bucket for:
$22,450.
You did well
Does anyone know how much longer the DK40SE will be available? My dealer said that the NX series (tier 4) will be replacing the DK series and that they will be out of DK's very soon. He also said that the CK will remain interim tier 4 until the 2015 model year (besides the CK2510).
Can anyone confirm this, or is he just trying to push the sale by saying that the DK40 will not be available and that I need to purchase very soon.
I am going to test drive and look over a Kubota L3800 to see how it compares.
I really wish that Kioti still had the DK35. Something between the CK35 and DK 40 would be perfect.
I have a 1/2 ton truck and a 7000 capacity trailer. The DK 40 with loader will be pushing the trailer.
the truck is rated for 9000lb trailer. The trailer bed probably weighs at least 1500, so that leaves me with a safe capacity of 5500lbs.
Will just be using the tractor on my 14 acres but would be nice to be able to haul it.
The CK tractor concerns me with the 1100lb ,or so, lift at the fel pins.
Would like to get some forks and I know that quickly downgrades the loader specs as I move out from the pins

I don't know the exact weight but something between 750-1000 lbs without the bucket sounds right. Maybe another 250 or 300 for the bucket.Thinking of the loader again. Does anyone know the weight of the Dk40 loader with bucket? I saw loader weight for the Ck buy did not see a weight for the DK in the sales flier.
