When are the feats of strength to occur?

A good question. Although Festivus officially ended at 2400 hours on December 23, members are still airing their grievances. As the Chair (self-appointed) of this year's Festivus Planning Committee, I am hesitant to declare an end to the "airing" component lest I be accused of abusing the power of my office.

When do you and others think we should schedule the "feats of strength"?

Every time I find something I like, they stop selling it. Doesn't matter what it is, shoes, clothes, music, books, movies, food.

Or they put it on a different aisle. And even then they put it up high or down low. Why do they always have to change what is in what aisle anyway?

Where's the problem with that? I spent a great four years of my life as a sophomore, very popular with the ladies as I was the only guy in the class that could legally buy alcohol!

4. Misspelled thread titles. Surely you can proofread three words?

THANK YOU!! However you there's actually three. Their, there and they're and NO, they're not interchangeable. Neither are two, to or too. Some people get upset when you call them stupid because they can't spell. I learned to spell long before computers would tell you were stupid by underlining a word for you in red. I find it hard to believe people hit the "Post Quick Reply" button when half the words they just typed have been underlined in red. When you're trying to make a point and I see misspelled words and the words used improperly (like their/there) I have little faith you know what you are talking about if you write like a 4th grader. As the end of Festivus draws nigh, it is now time for the airing of grievances.

I will begin.

1. The crimes committed against the English language on TBN are so horrendous that decorum prohibits listing them here. The overworked (and underpaid) Grammar Police cannot cope with the innumerable errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.

2. Some members do a disservice to those of us blessed with the gift of sight by their choice of avatars.
