A woman living in a rural area wanted to have an outhouse that wouldn't stink. She advertised in the local papers for a contractor that could build such a structure.
After some time, a contractor applied for the job and guaranteed that the outhouse would not have any odor. He got the job.
Sometime after completing the construction, the man got a frantic call from the woman, "You'd better get here fast! That outhouse has a terrible smell!"

He rushed over, went to the outhouse, poked his head through the door and exclaimed,

"No wonder it stinks! You pooped in it!"

I think that you are on a roll, pacerron!

Jim,, I know what you mean some what.. I say something close to that myself.. I wish I was born good looking than so ugly.. You know Jim money for rich people and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. ugly people got nothing.. not fair.. Lou

Lou; Some of us have other talents than looks. I hear you are darn good with a fiddle. Me? I'm mediocre with a guitar, so it averages out, I guess! :confused3:

Edit: Lou, you no longer have a horse as your avatar! If the pic is of you, then I stand corrected. You aren't bad looking! And I still hear that you are good with a fiddle! (But I am still mediocre on the guitar!)

Pure "classic" Jim!!:rotfl::applause: I was laughing so hard, the wife came in to see what happened:thumbsup:

Don't laugh too hard. You might put yourself on the gurney next to Foreman, to be the next under the knife.

Dude! You seriously need more freeboard on top of your dam. At least a foot above your emergency spillway elevation.

How about some photos of the back side of your dam? In the photo above, it looks mighty steep.
hugs, Brandi

Dudess!
The backside is relatively steep but quite thick.
The level you see in the earlier picture is not normal. The top of the overflow pipe is about a foot lower than the level you saw here
and has a weep hole lower than that but we had excessive rain in the past week.

This picture is the normal high level with nature's finest making sure you look where you step..:)

Speaking of the above soreness Mr. Dangerfield:)..... Here's a little fellow that appeared on the deck a couple months ago so tiny and starved I knew we were about to gain another free cat as soon as my wife saw him. Somebody had cut off his tail about halfway up and tossed him out on our road. So another free barn cat, named Bobcat :confused3: As he started getting bigger he started getting more like a Tom and was beating up on the other old barn cat and even the dog that he is buddies with. So $50 later, last Thursday, including a shot he is now an "it cat" and will be going back to the barn to live tomorrow. I hope with his calmer personality some Coyote doesn't have an expensive meal.

FIFTY BUCKS .. That's a DIY job

A few years back, we had a bobtail squirrel living in the trees between the house and the barn. I named him Bob. I have always heard squirrels use their tails for balancing. Bob never heard about tails used for balance. Other than no tail, you couldn't tell him from other squirrels, that had full bushy tails. hugs, Brandi

Soooo ... How did u decide on the name?

We used to DIY years ago. In today's world with the new Kittie cocktails cats are less likely to have problems this way.

Dam, that is a steep dam backside. Looks to be 2 to 1 slope. Bet you had a lot of erosion before the grass took hold.

Those slick spot makers sure look peaceful. Do they make a lot of noise?
