Ron you funny.. here another one..

Old country people sold the farm and moved to town,, They went out to look at this modern house,, fresh on the market,, The old farmer told the kids to look around and see what they thought,, Kids took off,, later one of the older ones came back and told his dad,, we can't move in here.. The dad said why,, The boy said I found this little room in the back and someone has pooped in the spring.. Lou

Did they use a synthetic mesh?

Yes sir they did. What happened after the first time he said that the mesh got turned before it healed and it was slipping out between it and the bone. So he went in,cut it back out, repositioned and sowed it to the muscle.Mine is really low. I may go to different doc,not saying it his fault but let someone else have a hack at it:laughing:

Bird! Darvon on the rocks HUH?? Don't think they make that drug anymore though, probably because some folks was drinking scotch with it!:D

Yep, I haven't heard of Darvon in a long time. But then that's the way with lots of things. When they find something that works, they quit making or selling it in favor of something that isn't as good. Actually, I just try to avoid all pain medications now-a-days unless I think they're absolutely needed. In fact, I think I have 5 bottles of hydroco/apap that have been prescribed the last few years when I had dental work done, a knee replaced, etc. and never used more than a couple of pills out of each bottle. I don't know about side effects for others, but I leaned some time ago that hydroco/apap will certainly help eliminate pain, but also causes insomnia for me. The last 2 times I took just one of those pills, the pain went away and I laid in bed comfortably and wide awake most of the night.

So I've already taken 2 aspirin twice this year. And once a tiny sip of Hydrocod/Hom 5-1.5/5SYP liquid cough syrup; high priced prescription cough syrup, but that meant watching TV all night instead of sleeping. My doctor says he hadn't heard of that side effect.

I asked my surgeon why he was just taking one stitch at a time and tying it instead of sewing that mesh the way you'd sew two pieces of cloth together and he said if a stitch ever breaks and it's one long fun instead of individual stitches, more of it could come loose. But I think what caused it to be so sore afterwards was those two bent egg turners they used to pull and stretch the incision wider open while he was working.

Do you have those larva like worms squriming in the bottom your outhouse also?

Don, I kept waiting for somebody to tell you what those "larva" are in the outhouse. Have you ever noticed the more of those you have, the more flies there are? They are maggots, pure and simple. . . well, maybe not so "pure.":D Of course, they make great fish bait. Just put a clothespin on your nose and go dig them out with a fork and fill up a coffee can. Catfish go nuts over them.:licking:

I hear that about the knife left in there:laughing: I dont know how its going to go this time around, the doc's made me stay off work longer than first time but i have lots of sick time to cover it or my 5weeks of vacation,so that helps. I had bad headaches and spent some time in the ER after also. Did I mention I hate needles and they usually have to stick me 3 or 4 times or wiggle the dang thing:shocked:
Thanks for the prayers Brandi...
Wait til you have a vein collapse while they are putting the IV in. I almost passed out before one surgery when that happened.
