3000/4000 Cab Roof Lights

Seems to me the cab lights on my 4720 are marginal at best. Anyone have any experience with replacing these with an upgrade? When you raise the bucket to clear the hood lights you quickly see how ineffective these roof lights are-IMO

Most people are replacing with LED's,I have on both of our tractors.Check with Tuff Lites ,Cree,ect.,I purchased from Amazon.You may have to modify/build a bracket.Factory wiring is sufficient,the LED's draw less power.Much better lights than factory .

Tom- Will do. 2520 doing a good job-toward the end of last winter he found a new snow plow push frame on Craigs list. so I modifed the loader mount I had made for him and it is one snow pushing machine-although he is getting a set oif chains this year!

I second the LED lights idea. I picked up a set similar to these last year and they are really bright. No problems with them so far. I actually painted the back of the snow plow flat black instead of yellow because there was so much light reflecting back to me.

the old girl looks good-how about a picture-is that a Deere cap? Where did you mount the lights?

Hi Bob,

Yes, it is the Deere canopy. I used the existing bolts in the canopy roof to mount the lights.
