A few years back we had snow on the beach at Corpus Christi on Christmas Day. 2004 it was.

Just went out to make the final check on the horses. Last stall cleaning for the day and throw a little more hay. And... it just started snowing here. Not heavy, and it won't stick, but snowing just the same.

They just said I10 from Schulenburg to Flatonia is shut down due to ice on bridges. Same for bridge at Bastrop over Colorado.

It's cold all the way down to the tip of TX this morning. 37° Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Oldest son got to spend more time in TX than planned during the storm. Sat on I-20 just west of FW for over 12 hours.

That's not far from normal traffic times for that area. :laughing: People who live in that area will know.

The forecast called for 18 F last night, but it only got down to 24 F. I guess I won't call the NWS and ask for my money back.

I surely enjoyed the OSU/OU game yesterday. OU was the underdog and the spoiler for OSU's Big 12 championship by winning the game. However, Baylor beat UT and this morning they are wearing the Big 12 crown. Congrats Baylor Bears and fans.:thumbsup:

Since the Texans played Thursday night, I didn't get to the watch the game. I did record it, but don't wanna get beat up watching it. Big surprise.................Kubiak was fired Friday. I said he should go last year during the playoffs.

Texans are 2-11. Are the Boys worse than that? Gotta work tonight for the crew being off after Christmas. So it's bed time for me.
