Coffee second cup has been poured. 47° with rain this morning. Heading to 66 with clouds and rain all day. Made it to Talladega, Alabama yesterday. Good day to travel. Today will be a wet day. But traveling should be OK. My internal body clock is all screwed up. Passed into Central Time Zone yesterday. :confused2:
Buppies, not the kind of weather report I want to hear. If it get's that cold around txdon's place. I may have to continue on down to the Valley a little sooner than planned.

Ron I believe this is indeed coming with like a train more behind this one with more cold outbreaks. Maybe a lot of the country will have a white Christmas. I thinks kids who like snow will be happy and the age as Drew suggested should be at least up to 100 to include the older kids as well

I think the global warming people are about to be put on hiatus. I saw a group of weather experts last night, including one from the Weather Channel, notoriously pro global warming, they all agree that this may be the coldest winter since the 1980's, maybe even since 1977.

No Christmas decorations here either. Last year they were up 2 weeks ago. My health and other circumstances have slowed us this year. Going for more tests today, see the doc tomorrow, hope some some good news is waiting.

Roy, you come down with a big truck and I'll send you home with enough to flatten your tires...let's say I have an overabundance here. Free. No charge for invasive wood beetles. Of course you might get stopped at the state line and thrown in jail for importing out of state wood, who knows there may be an Asian carp lying in wait in the pile...

Randy, up in the attic, somewhere, are boxes of expensive LED lawn lights my wife wanted and they are going to stay where they are. Just ordered a very simple outdoor kresh, sort of silhouette style, with the three wise men headed its way. I wonder if I need a license for an outdoor expression of faith? Must be a regulation on that somewhere.
I do worry a bit about our new Indian neighbors across the way, but I have given them so many buckets of tomatoes and hot peppers that I know they think kindly of me. Just don't want to wave a red flag in front of any bull, not the spirit of Christmas for me. The Patels are nice, gentle people with a delightful young daughter so not honestly concerned.
I wonder what a Hindu lawn ornament is like?...A giant Buddha riding an elephant, with 2000 LED lights? In July?
And before anyone gets offended, my neighbors may be Christians for all I know. But for those of us who live in culturally mixed areas, it's something we all need to be sensitive to.

So my simple lawn ornaments will consume 28 watts, an agreeable number for something that goes all night long. I could put it on a timer I suppose, we have those. Just have to get this stuff done before it snows.
