37 this morning will be snowing by 8:00 over by 2:00 then cold thru weekend. Will start packing soon to leave to head south for holiday. Happy Thanksgiving

Drinking second cup of coffee. 45° with a little drizzle this morning. Heading down from the morning temperature and some sun in the afternoon. I am a little under the weather this morning. Good Morning! Ron you are warmer up there! 35˚ clear skies heading to the 40's only. Tomorrow morning will be the coldest of the season dropping into the 20's for central Texas. It is official, this Fall is colder than last winter. I have burned more wood this last week than all of last year.

At this rate I'll be out of wood by tomorrow. I have a dead tree scoped out and need to fell it today, after I mow the yard of the last time. Fun fun!

The wood burning stove has kept the house around 70 degrees and I have not had to turn the heater on this week.

Good Morning. 0750, overcast, 40* with 87% humidity and gusty N NW wind. Forecast high is 50* and low 27*. The rain has left us, now we just have the cold and wind to deal with. All I plan on doing outside is spread a little extra corn and put up the new game camera I bought yesterday. I hope the wind lays by tomorrow morning. It will be the first day of gun season for us in NW Florida. Everyone have a good day and stay warm.

34 right now with a snow/rain/sleet mix (wintry mix) coming down...not too hard yet, but the prediction calls out a 100% probability for the mix. It's supposed to hit 45 today, so I reckon we'll see all rain soon. High probability of snow tonight, but I haven't seen any accumulation predictions yet.
Good day to stay inside, keep the fire stoked and watch a few movies I'd recorded on the DVR.

My wife lit the stove this morning...she just couldn't resist using the bed of embers...that was at 0630 (I didn't get up until about 0800).

Wow, nothing beats a wood stove for fall warmth. The heat just feels better. I've done some of my best thinking--and sleeping--around a woodstove in the fall. Add a glass of red wine and it's dreamland for me in mere moments.
