Coffee has been brewed and most of it drank. 11° with clear skies and a good north breeze this morning. Heading to 24° with chance of some sun. Ready to head out to motorhome and disconnect it from shore power. Nice and warm inside. Looks like good weather heading south. Except it's cold everywhere.

Toppop hope you get well soon very windy this morning and quite cool 22 degrees in fact with a high of only 30 today. Got a lot of busy stuff done yesterday, got some jobs to estimate today also outside stuff to do but may be to cold. All kitchen cabinets in execpt for a couple of end panels, granite has been templated in waiting mode now. No home cooked meals for another two weeks. FG19 you found winter and some of what I read the gate is open and no way to close it for a while. Another storm will show up after Thanksgiving maybe worse than the current one. There might even be a parade of them and cold to

Back in early October when you first shared you were suffering from sciatica and back spasms, I don't recall you mentioning the cause? Was this trauma related?

I am not suggesting it has to be trauma related as my back issues and sciatica weren't caused by any specific trauma, but degenerative (and a fair dose of he-man stupidity over the years).

But, if it was - could it be the underlying cause of your current symptoms...???

I obviously am not a doctor, and if I recall correctly your wife is...but since you haven't been able to diagnose your current situation, I am offering to toss a dart here...could this possibly be some form of rhabdomyolysis?

As I understand rhabdomyolysis, it can be brought on by trauma OR periods of immobility (as in bed rest?), and it's symptoms sound like it could be what you have.

But please - my opinion and a dollar bill will still leave you fifty cents short paying for a cup of coffee! Hope your medical team can quickly diagnose and cure your ailments!!

I'll look into it. One train of thought is the meds to treat my back my have triggered it. We shall see.

All you guys traveling, take your time and be safe. Drew, I doubt it froze in one night, but with the wind it will cool everything much quicker, wind chill doesn't affect absolute cold but it does play big roll in how fast it gets cold.
Mid 20's and blowing a gale, looks like a high of 37 later.

Toppop, good day to stay inside. It's bright blue sky out here, not a cloud in the sky, the wind rattles one of my gutters at time, and it's 9 degrees wind chill. I think I'll venture out later...
Thought I was going to clean the house yesterday but that never happened. So that's on this morning's agenda.

For many years we had a housecleaner, when Nadene was sick, but I stopped them six months ago.
