Coffee cup is full. 43° with light fog this morning. Heading to low 30° and continued clouds by afternoon. Got a push notice on my iPhone yesterday. Someone tried to charge over $1000 on my card. Quick call to Visa. Charge canceled and new card on it's way. Should be here today. Love my smart phone.

37 degrees and rain looks like showers all day long. After many years of wanting we have started building the workshop / garage (garage keeps the wife thinking park car) this month.
Yesterday we finished filling the blocks and have the plate on and the first wall up! Got it up around 6:30 last night. It is going to be 22 x 42 with an upstairs storage area.

Not to excuse these guys...but if they were flying VFR and not familiar with either of the airports...well, a runway is a runway.

No, it is not! Besides, they still have an ILS and such to use as a "crutch"! If the pilot needed his technology, he should have had it turned on and have been USING it! (And today's pilots seem to need a LOT of technology!)

50 years ago today, John Kennedy was assassinated and "Camelot" was over. I was in Junior High School when this happened.

Today's weather:
31 degrees and rain right now. A high of 41 and snow showers all day.

Senior high history class. We all sat there stunned, and watched the teacher try to hold back his tears.
There was talk of the nuclear bombs coming next...a scary day for kids.

Good Morning! Ouch, a bitting 47˚ with a strong north wind. The cats were at the door early this morning saying the same thing. Whipper is curled up on the porch chair on the south side out of the wind with no indication of moving. The house will cool down in a few days and then maybe the first fire in the WBS. It just dropped another 2˚.
