Hey guys how long would be to long in waiting for a dealer to do a 200hr service? I paid over $500 for a 200hr service on a rx6010 September 18th and it's still not done. I could have done or myself by now but figured its under warranty I better let the dealer give it a once over. I love the machine but starting to distrust my dealer. Thanks in advance guys.

Go pick the tractor up and do the service yourself.
Tell the dealer you want a full refund. Then find a competent dealer. Your current dealer sucks.
Ridiculous.

Agree, I'd get my money back and tell this dealer "don't touch my stuff again".

I agree 100%. I would also write a letter to Corporate and call Corporate.

You bought from Upper Valley, in Enfield, NH, yes? And you were happy with them when you bought it, yes? And if it has taken since September 18th to do a 200 hour service that you PREpaid your dealer for; so how come we are just hearing about this now?

Yup it was UVT, and I work out of state I have no problems w upper valley just getting frustrated. Why in gods green earth would I call corporate it's a simple question, have people had a 2 month service call outstanding. The tractor is 100% fine nothing to involve Kioti corporate they were great during the initial transition and I have had good luck with the new ownership up till this point.

So why aren't you asking THEM why it takes nearly two months to do a few hours service?! And if you have, what is their answer to this simple question?

Fluids didn't come in....

Huh?! Two months for hydraulic fluid, available just about anywhere? Is this what they're telling you?

Is there another Kioti dealer near you that can service it? You may need real dealer support some day and you might as well locate the dealer now. It is not your current guy. They can go to any distributor and get hydraulic fluid. You are getting lip service.

Anything more than a week for routine maintenance is too long.

With the facts given, I would pick up my tractor. I would also put a complaint in to Kioti. You can buy oil for your tractor any of a number of places. There are several threads on this forum with approved oils other than the ones listed in the manual. Anything over ten days, and I would be jumping up and down. :censored:

If an appt. was set up before hand, anything more than a day is too long. Would you give Mr. Lube a month for an oil change on your car? I'd be concerned if my dealer didn't have everything they needed to do the service, its pretty standard stuff.

Since you paid up front, likely the paperwork got pushed into a pile of "already completed" and while not likely, it looks like everyone dropped the ball on the ticket and they just parked it and waiting for you to pick it up. I guess fault lies in both corners on this, you should have called 6 weeks ago and asked why the work wasn't done and they should have better control of shop orders.
One other thing, you should have done the service yourself. You can do it all in a couple of hours and you would have become a bit aware of your tractor in doing so. I never understand folks who own a tractor but spend that kind of money to service it like an auto that you can drive into a business and leave 15 minutes later with services complete. Tractor owners should be capable and willing to do the minor stuff themselves. Surely in 2 months, one could find a couple of hours to do the work of an oil and filter change. Tractors are not throw away items that you use a few times and discard or trade in like autos. They are normally long term ownership items that owners dote on and love to work and tinker with. Just look at all the post where folks immediately start customizing their "baby" because they LOVE to work on it, take care of it and use it.

If I was a betting man, I would say the dealer removed a part from your tractor to fix another, and is waiting on a back-ordered part. There is no other reason a service should take more than a two days.

Even for a busy shop a week is longest I would wait. I never pay up front for anything except the pizza buffet. Why did you prepay?

Why are they doing fluids at 200?

Prepaid because I trusted the guy. I got told it would be completed three separate times and it wasn't. As I stated I work out of state for extended times 3 to 4 weeks then usually the same time off. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, maybe fluids didn't come in but now I am returning home in a week and I'm going to flip nuts on this issue.

As far as why fluids, that's what I was told. Again trusted a guy. What would you think the cost of a 200 hr on a 6010 clutch would go for?
