7 days with no incidents, questions, stories???

I'm supposed to gather more firewood this weekend for us, but I just found out my brother-in-law got a load for his parents.... so I have to split it for them.... he's unemployed! Why can't he split it? Grrr! :laughing:

Just got the popcorn in and shucked. Will set up for cleaning and then freeze.

We had some guests that took a stroll around the yard one morning and left the greenhouse door unlatched. That night skunks got in and pulled down about half of the stalks and ate three ears only. I was able to salvage about half of the downed stalks as they were not broken, just bent over. Shelled 37 pounds of popcorn by hand and hope next year to get 50 pounds which is about maximum.

Finally got some seat time yesterday. I pulled 30-40 trees out of the woods up to the landing for 2014-15 firewood. I'm sore!
