good morning , 39 degrees and the rain is gone. looks like we might have our first fire in the wood stove this weekend, leaves are turning a little now looks like they are comming down before they peak in color. everyone have a great day and weekend as well.

First cup of coffee has been poured. 41° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 60° a some sun and SW breeze. Yesterday was a washout. Rained all day. Today should be a good day to get started on fall projects again.

Have some nice seasoned cherry all stacked and ready to go.
Sometimes I hate to burn the wood it's so pretty, ought to make a stool or something out of it.
Dark walnut looks good enough to eat, like chocolate ice cream. For a beaver I suppose...

Good Morning! 59˚heading to the 70s. I burned 10 gallons of diesel yesterday, it was one of those picture perfect retirement days that we all dream of when we are working. Blue blue sky, cool 60s all day, little dust, green, and on the tractor mowing the 2' high goat weed all day. I got temporally stuck only three times not because of mud but deep sand - the sand still needs more moister. I have enough goat weed (dove weed) to keep me mowing for a week and still have plenty left for the birds.

53 F here this morning with cloudy skies. This afternoon has a chance of producing a shower. The Bowie, Tx Airport's weather station is back on line and reporting current info since the gov't shutdown has been quashed. That place must be pretty damp since the weather report said it was 64 F and heavy rain for the last 4 days.

68 deg.sun shine great looking day for a day off from work. Now I just have to hope the boss, my better half, doesn't havy a very long honey do list.

It's a cool breezy 63 right now, high around 69 today. Looks like everyone east of the Rockies is in for a taste of winter. Early forecasts have us here on Delmarva getting upper 20's in 8-10 days, and long range shows even more cold air behind that. I'm afraid we
are about to pay for the recent mild winters.
