Congratulations on Your new tractor.I noticed that You put Your hooks on the end of the bucket,You might want to reconsider and line them up with the lift arms.One other thing that I do when putting hooks on buckets is put plates under the hooks so as to distribute the strain that sometimes is put on top of the bucket.

Yep, pretty darned nice tractor and equipment. As mentioned, I would have located the hooks a bit different and reinforced them as well, we learned our lesson when our dealer put ours on without support and my sons bent one soon after delivery, we will be modifying that this winter. Torque can be mitigated by running a chain between the hooks and lifting with a chain attached to it, there is a pretty good thread on using hooks and chains on here, but I don't have it handy, will try to find it, I learned a lot.

Very nice machine from the specs. I was looking at this Kubota vs the L4600 for my second tractor. Also got a quote on a john deere 5055e. I was curious as to any thoughts you had that made this tractor better than a compact class for your needs. I couldn't get pricing on the jd 4005 yet. But I'm leaning towards something like you bought with more weight and higher pto hp.

i bought this cause i figured bigger is better as far as weight.hp and pto are concerned. i tried to buy the biggest tractor i could afford. its a big choice... choose wisely
