Good Morning All. 0850, cloudy, 70* with 95% humidity. Forecast high of 90* with 60% chance of thunderstorms. We had a good storm about bedtime last night. Got six tenths out of it. If the rain holds off, I will see how much further I can clean the second story with a 24" extension for the pressure washer. Doesn't seem very long to me, but still cost $20.

Good morning all. 66F this morning going to 81F today mostly cloudy and light breeze. Humidity has returned with some rain last night. Mostly chores today and planing boat/trailer repairs.

There has been a movement several times over the years, and some behind the scenes contact with the Western MD movement.

In all my 63 years, I have never heard or read of so many states or counties discussing or pursuing secession. I do know the Eastern Shore has tried it a few times...but with Western MD support, hopefully it will work for you folks.

There was a movement at one time to incorporate the two Virgina eastern shore counties, all the Maryland Eastern Shore counties and the two lower Delaware counties into a state called Delmarva. Virginia bought off their two counties by allowing them to retain fireworks, more liberal cotton regs and lower tobacco taxes.

Yep...I remember that...kind of a shame it didn't work out.

when it all boils down to it...there isn't much one can do besides roll with the punches, is there?
That doesn't mean anyone has to be, or should be complacent. One does have to work to attain their goals....I'm at the age where the goals as high as they once were...
