Unfortunately pretty common with Kubota, my wife tore the screens out of our BX2660 cowling and you can't buy them separately, so we had to buy the whole cowling, same with the dust boots on the BX.

Curious RRR, how much did the replacement cowling cost? Not sure I want to know but being plastic I can see it it my future.

I'll have to check my receipt as we also had a deck wheel welded back on and the deck adjusted as well as replace tail lights and lollipop flasher lenses.

You probably won't have to worry about it as we have a ten year old BX2200 with all intact panels. My wife just caught a downed T post while backing up.

I would leave it as is. Super glue or any sealer is going to cloud up on the area and look worse than the crack. Moisture in the light? drill a small hole in the lowest spot to let it drain out if it gets in. Park it in a shed during rain and it should always stay dry and keep the hose off it if washing. You cant damage it anymore than it is now so you let it be and use it. I like the suggestion to use your $300 for some good after market lights that are mounted high enough to clear the FEL when working.
