New Member, New Owner

Finally broke down and bought a John Deere 1025R with belly mower and FEL last week. Have cut all 2 1/2 acres of grass and raised the elevation of the yard surrounding the house by two feet so far. So far I am thoroughly satisfied with how well it performs. Am awaiting delivery of a 6 position rear blade from everythingattachments.com so I can work my driveway (1500 ft., most downhill). I am a natural born tinkerer and will probably end up making some mods to implements. I have been using my 26 hp Craftsman with a DIY FEL i made nine years ago up til now, and cannot believe how much I have been missing. I look forward to talking to you guys about things as they come up.

Thanks, I know I will. I have occasionally found myself here because google directed me to a post that had to do with some project I had going on. I'm not happy unless I'm building/ creating/ tweaking something.
