It is super handy.

I use the "free hand" mode. I can't remember the exact name, but it is something like that.

Yeah some dealers just don't get it. They will have to trim a little of the tan plastic that covers the fender. The mounting holes are already there, just covered up. Have them order the seat that fits the "m" series for your 5093E. It bolts right in. Tell them to throw away the grab handle.

The lightbar field mapping and GPS system is expensive but pretty cool.

Very nice tractor, you got that thing decked out, lol. Did you get it over in crockett? I would like some info on your field mapping/gps,I am looking for something to help on my field spraying, would that be what im looking for? My in-laws live there in centerville and robbins...

Yep got it from Kevin at Fish & Still in Crockett. He beat everybody's deal.
My field mapper is an EZ Guide 250, about $1,100. Do a search on the 'net and you'll find some good info.

Yeah that's who my buddy deals with, has bought several tractors and hay equipment from him. Will do some searches on that, thanks. I figured it will pay for itself eventually and be a lot easier on fields its hard to keep up with your tracks. I also would like to get my sprayer, where have switches in cab for booms and etc.

Sure like the new iPhone mount Deere came out with. I used to set it on the side console and it always ended up on the floor. Not any more!

I have got to have a iphone mount - with the front mounted cable - that is the deal.

I bet I could snake the cable down the post there.

Take a look at my picture and you can see the USB port I installed in one of the spots on the pillar. It leads to my radio so I can stream Pandora, iHeart radio, and digital music stored on my iPhone. So I put my phone in the mount, plug it into the USB, and turn on the Bluetooth. If I get a call it mutes the music and rings through the speakers in the cab. I have a small microphone mounted right by the night illumination light. The system works perfectly!

Yeah - nice install. Tractor already has a radio in it - not sure if it is bluetooth or not. Good idea on the USB port to charge and just use bluetooth.

New Holland has been making an Iphone/Ipod holder for some time along with standard usb and aux ports for a couple years now

Too bad it is in a New Holland tractor.

I agree the cab is sweet.

Once you have a cab with AC you'll never go back!!!

I mowed 60 acres of crp with an HX15 bat wing cutter on my 5083E this week, and it did a pretty good job. That is all the cutter I would want on there, but it mowed some pretty thick stuff at 5.5 mph, and didn't bog down to badly.

JD3520, how do you like the HX15?? Would you buy another one?

That is one sweet looking cab! Thanks for the pictures of the buddy seat, it's hard to find good pics like that. Do you have any with someone sitting in it? For an idea of how much "room" there is?

My wife's uncle, just bought a new jd 5065. I tried to talk him into a cab for every reason in the book until I was blue in the face, but he just smiled and said "the papers are already signed"...

After telling me of his options, MFWD, powerreverser tranny, and the FEL, a cab option would have cost him a little over $7000. retail. I'm guessing he could have had it for about $6300 more.

Another equipment guy was in the office while I was trying to convince him and said "He wouldn't buy another machine without a cab after getting attacked by killer bees on a dozer". His buddy bought a new jd 7430 without a cab and spent 5 days in the hospital after getting a hundred stings. He won't even get on the tractor now. Sad.

I don't have a picture with someone sitting in it, sorry. My wife can sit in it. Her knees are close to the front glass, an adult wouldn't want to sit there all day but for kids it is a no brainer.

Thanks! That's what it will be for, so I guess it's a no brainer :D
