I've done a lot of sixes and sevens, and a few twelves that scared the crap out of me but our Bertram did fine in it, though it did put its gunnel in the water a few times. Pulled that fool maneuver off Twin Lights at the top of NJ. Problem is when you take a liveaboard boat offshore, all kinds of stuff comes flying loose, no matter how well you stow.

No big boat now, just a little sixteen footer I want to convert from gas to electric.
But I still read the marine forecasts. Eighteen footers tonight? better you than me, pull the covers up.

Time to think? I was too busy dodging trees to do any thinking. I counted them, just so I would know how many times I had to back up. From the driveway to the graveyard there are 28 trees, three stumps, a sparkleberry bush and a huckleberry bush. Each one requires you to back up four times.
And when I was doing the right of way, what I was thinking was that if the Good Lord will let me get to the end down there, I will let the county do it from now on. There is no pictures of the steepest parts because I was hanging on like a monkey on a stick.

What the world needs isn't more love, it is more TRACTORS! Maybe then, more people would THINK, and problems would be solved. I too get good thinking done on a tractor, and find it therapeutic. Small world, really.

Many's the time I've come in from mowing and greeted my wife, "I just had a great idea..." LOL

Funny, I usually come back in with "I need a bigger tractor, with a cab and a/c".

The "free" leasing never seems to benefit me, this time of year. It's all hay and no grass cutting operations.
