what is a good price for a Ls g3033

I'm looking to purchase a ls3033.: the dealer is offering 15400 including a 6' deck. Does that seem like a good price? Tbe dealer has installed rear hydraulic lines.

That's a good price....guessing the 6' deck is a brush cutter, not a finish mower, right? My dealers prices are usually right around what everybody else reports, and this is their current ad for a 3033:

That is an exceptionally low price with a 6' cutter and remotes, although most 6' shredders call for minimum 35 pto HP, so we stay with 5 footers on the G3033. Maybe the cutting conditions are less rough, hot, and dusty where you are.??
I notice that your profile says you're in MT (LUCKY!!!), which compels me to tell you that you should beware if the "dealer" quoting you that price is Western Ag Supply, Inc. We're waiting for more details, but we do know already that these guys are not an authorized dealer and tractors purchased from them will have no warranty. It's not clear if they really even have any LS Tractors in stock, and if they do it's a mystery as to how they acquired them because they were not supplied by LS Tractor USA.
Hopefully that's not who you're seeing, in which case that price is a downright steal, but just wanted you to be aware of the potential pitfall.

Thank you for the info. I am working with a dealer in town and I take delivery on Thursday. The dealer is authorized and has my tractor in stock. He is going to Billings to pick up the brush hog. I will be cutting mostly tall grass (light hay) and some sage brush. Im in south central so we are drier. Been in Montana for 9 month and have been loving every minute. I be using the tractor on about 18 of my 21 acres ( some is to steep as it goes into the cooly). I have heard of Western Ag Supply but haven't delt with them. Thank you again for the info. I have watched several of the rcotractor you tube videos and that is what helped me make the decision.

Great! Glad we were able to be helpful. Enjoy your new LS! You made a good choice and sounds like you've got a good local dealer too. Hopefully I'll have the chance to meet them at dealer meeting sometime.
