Singalo, you need to slow down and breath! There are MANY individual dealers and given some time on TBN, you'll get to know some of them. Kubota also doesn't tailor their product to the American market, their product is the result of a domestic need and is now sold around the world.
I am just fine. It might be a good Idea to check your own irritation. It's not rational if you think about it.
You talk to me at though you know me somehow. Which in itself is comical. Do you think you are "Learning me something" by saying that there are dealers on TBN? Come on Ken, you are smarter then that I know you are. I never made any such claim that Don and Dave are the only two on here. But let's try and be realistic. The dealers that become embroiled in very controversial debates concerning any product are few and far between. And for good reason. It's not good business. Let's try and not over simplify every single thing.
Kubota also doesn't tailor their product to the American market, their product is the result of a domestic need.
So,,, you are telling me that Kubota does not in fact design any aspect of their products based on the American market? I am making the assertion that they in fact they DO design aspects of the tractor based on the NEED of the American market. And I also believe that they tweak their tractors for markets outside the US. What do I base this on? Common sense, good business practice and the fact that they are the number one seller of SCUT's CUT's in the USA. You would have to be a fool to believe that Kubota builds a one size fits all tractor, that just happens to wildly popular here. You said their product is the result of a "Domestic Need". What domestic need? Japans? They don't take into account the needs of the other markets they sell in? I am basing my thoughts on what I see in the Kubota tractors, and in my knowledge of how business operates, working for a rather large one myself. I think we can take a look at the details we do know, and make a pretty reasonable assumption. What are you basing your opposing views on?
Well, I am going to have to go ahead and ask you to put evidence on the table that expressly refutes my assertion that they tailor the tractors sold here in the US to the US market. Because it is INCONCEIVABLE, that they are simply doing what ever they want and ignoring the consumer sentiment of the people they are selling to. That is illogical, and I would need to see something more substantial then "Nu uh" to change my mind.
