After calling kioti rep and leaving a message on June 15th and never heard back. I call today got the run around that i need to pay to get it to the dealer I have had this issue sense day one getting tired of . Told him didn't have 400.00 with my daughters medical bills . Told me to stop paying the bill and pay for the dealer to come get it. So that piss me off to use every swear in the book. Then told I Guess it's time to fill out the complaint form with the attorney generals office.

They actually told you to stop paying your daughter's medical bills and instead pay the dealer to transport the tractor back to their shop? Really?

My goodness.

Sounds like there's frustration on both sides now. I'm sensitive to your situation and feel for you with all the problems you've had with the "new" tractor. I went through the exact same thing with issue after issue, but because of my dealer, never really got frustrated over it. As you've probably heard me say, giving up and trading the tractor was a difficult decision, but I'm very happy with it.

It's an unfortunate situation you're in. Kioti will have no problem fixing the issue under warranty (through a dealer), but like the warranty on a vehicle, you need to take it to them to have it fixed. There is a real cost to having your tractor floated both ways to the dealer and the dealer needs to get paid for those costs. My dealer handles all that while the tractor is under warranty but that was part of the deal when I bought the tractor. You didn't even buy the tractor from the dealer you're working with now, so it's all that much harder to get him to offer that type of service now. You have to understand he doesn't want to shell out $$ from his own pocket to pick up your tractor.

I hope you can find somebody to help you out. I'd personally just make a deal with the new Kioti dealer or a dealer for another brand to take that tractor as a trade, deliver the new tractor and do all warranty work on site or transport to his shop at his cost. Of course if you're in the situation you're in with your daughter, that may just not be a reality.

I've always thought you were a really noble guy, somebody who put it all out to help others and follow your heart. I'm not sure why the universe is mad at you right now. I know this camp is your dream, but it sounds like you're trying to put more into it than your resources permit. I wish you all the best with your daughter.

Is there someone around you that can transport it for you for less?
Daughter comes first, tractor second or third or fourth.
Someone has to have a trailer and truck that can help you out, if I where close I would transport for you and just want something for gas used.
Good luck hope you get this resolved and your daughter regains her health.

Have you considered putting an ad up on Craigslist, asking for somebody with a trailer to help you out? I know that, for a professional trucker, the insurance and upkeep and fuel and time must be paid for, but some good ol' boy with a truck and a car hauler may be willing to do you a favor for the cost of gas, or maybe some kind of barter (tractor work in exchange for transportation).

Nathan;

I'm sure there is much more to this story than what is being disclosed here.

We contacted Kioti once for assistance regarding our 2007 DK45S. They were nothing short of fantastic. There was no "run around". They stayed with us and worked with our dealer until all issues were resolved. Kioti stands behind their product. Just ask KiotiKen.

I wish I lived closer. I would drop by and help you. It is probably something small. Perhaps something you took apart and did not reassemble correctly.

I would love to hear a second opinion if there was a TBN member who lived close to Nathan.

Best wishes for your daughter...

Not calling you out here on this subject but I find it very hard to believe any business or anyone in the correct frame of mind would tell someone to pay $400 bucks to take your tractor into have fixed verses your daughters health. As others have stated walk away from the tractor or have it fixed by a different dealer.Good luck, coobie

From day one with the tractor dealing with kioti rep Connie and her emails and dealer nasty email Saved them all. I also recorded the conversation with the rep telling my stop paying the bill to get the tractor to the dealer. They have tried fixing it twice. And the dealer at 400.00 buck a pop. The tractor to get to run is clear and unplug and plug everything back in to get it to start. And shouldn't take month to get a part

The legality of recording telephone conversations is different from state to state. He is in Maine which is a one-party notification state but he needs to consider where the other end was. Please refer to:

Telephone recording laws - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The lawyers certainly will.

Please don't take any offense, I'm just trying to be helpful.

That would be nice but MF dealer and Kubota won't take the kioti for trade and a kioti dealer would only give me 6,000 for a year old tractor with 195 hr he said it was high hrs and it has a known electrical problem. But falls in the Lamon law. It will just be a fight. And when they say they are recording a conversation I let them know I'm recording too. Only far to have proof too. With all the rude emails too from the NJ dealer and Connie.

$6000? High hours? That is truly a line of bull sh*t.!

I'm just guessing but shouldn't that machine be worth about three times that?

So he bought a tractor 400 miles from home and expects free transport for warranty repairs? Am I actually reading this correctly?
