falling skies tv series

ok.. i started watching mid 1st season.. missed a few.. picked up the dvd series pack.. forgot about it.. left it inthe cabinet. last year my work sched changed and i missed the entire 2nd season. this past sun, season 3 started. I was home.. watched it and immediately knew i needed to fill in the blanks from 1st season.

went out and hit wallymart.. grabbed season 2 dvd. did a marathon and watched about 12 episodes ( couple from 1 i missed and all 2nd )

ok.. start of 3rd SEEMS to be 7m after end of 2nd. and now mason is prez? and the new aliens have funny names like cocheese? season 2 ended witht he new alien ships landing after the destriuction of some 'fish head' weapon.

have I missed soemthing in between.. or was what i saw on season 3 not the season premier ( 7ml ater.. etc.. )

any ideas?

i'll probably have to do the same thing to revoloution / defiance/ i've missed mor ethan i've seen..

Thats it.. New aliens showed up, boom!, its seven months later. I freaked at first too..

yep. I had went totally asus a while back. me and the wife have a asus netbook each, and I have a netbook running as a net-top at home. my buddy got the tablet. I fell in love with it..

ok.. good to know on the series. It's an amazing leap they went. 7m and when they left off we had just seen the new alien.. and now.. poof. we are allies. you'd think they could have made a transition episode or soemthng.

Mason's paralysis is psychosomatic, caused by something attached to his brain stem.

Yes, the 7 month "lapse" is how the series covered the show for being off air. Kind of liked the way they did it.

I too like these shows mentioned, and on "Falling Sky's", not sure I liked the way they masked all these big events once the new aliens landed till now type issues. It is one of the better shows on TV now mainly because of the acting and the semi realistic way things have happened. That was up till the most recent Nuc Plant explosion show. I like the scrounging and way the people are attempting to stay alive without the heavy BS stuff that usually goes with this type of show (see my remarks about revolution below.)

I was highly disappointed with Revolution from day one. My woman likes it so I tend to keep my mouth shut in all the dumb power sucking micro robots floating about... As for Charlie (blond daughter) not holding a gun, kind of makes sense because she was a cross bow hunter. That bad part is she can't hold a crossbow either lol... I LAUGH about the total power failure and then the ability of the small devices to turn electrical circuit back on by remotely turning the power sucking micro robot dust off... :rolling eyes: I wish some of these shows would use some reality. Right from the get go I said where are the steam engines where are the steam trains or air powered water wheels etc... They showed up later but only after the revelation there were trillions upon trillions of these energy sucking robots floating about...

Anyhow I'm stuck watching it but certainly take it over anymore of the reality TV shows

Defiance seems to be a pretty good start for a show one main issue is the "Skyfall" (bits of the space junk falling back to earth) is all junk but basically survives the fall to earth? ya not very plausible even for a SiFi show.

Yes, i think defiance is marginally interesting but skyfall got old on the 2nd or 3rd repetitious episode. Seems like little attempt to make any kind of logical sense.
