I see various reptilian shaped blobs, but sorry, your cell phone camera just isn't good enough. Care to highlight what I should be seeing?

No I don't see it.. what are we looking for ? animal, vegetable or Mineral?.. I see something metallic in the center of the photo. and lots of branches.. I don't know what the "surprise" is.

I am from the swamp country and it jumped out to me immediately.
You got a cottonmouth snake right in the dead center left and right, just slightly above center top and bottom of the picture.
His head is in the middle or so, big old triangle shaped head.

When I was a teenager I would go frog hunting just about every weekend this time of year. Would hunt frogs half the night getting drunk in the process.
Now, because of memories of them big boys right there, you would have to get me drunk half the night first to convince me to go frog hunting.
Head lamp, blue jeans, tennis shoes, about a 10 or 12 foot gig and we would wade out there. I had a 12 foot narrow aluminum boat with a push pole, paddle, car battery and cooler in it. You would use the boat to get through a deep spot and then wade where you couldn't take the boat. Good memories other than the nightmares!

Even with dusty's help I had to look far too long to see a snake, or maybe parts of one. So this Iowan has made a decision, I best not go for a stroll in a swamp by myself.

jerrybob, the thing about a cottonmouth that is so creepy ain't how long they get, it is how big around. One three to four foot long is a great big un and will be bigger around than a mans arm. And his head, mercy, it's head. Lay our hand out flat on the table palm down, now in your mind take off your thumb and fingers, what is left would be the size of a full growed nasty cottomouths head, body as big around as your upper forearm, and about three feet or a little more long. NASTY!
