Farmgirl, My youngest is going to be 19 soon and is still my baby girl. It must be a daddy thing.

I was definitely a "Daddy's Girl". I am not arguing that. It is the "baby" part that I commented on. Sorry, I guess that I am outranked. ;)

David Glad to hear you had a good day with your little girl and yes she is very cute. And by the big smile on her face it looks like she was enjoying the time as much as you were. I hope you have many many many more days like that they grow up so fast if you blink they grow while doing so and remember no matter what happens with the rest of your situation she will always be your blood and like I always say blood is thicker than water

GUys, have you heard about RAGBRAI? Check it out at 2013 Route Maps | RAGBRAI
My wife and I have done it several times. You don't have to be registered to do it.

My DIL rode it twice, talked my son into going with her the second time. That was summer before last during a heat wave. They had fun but it was hot day and night.

The DIL has become a cycling dynamo. This year she is riding up seven hills in New England, each one is more difficult than the previous one. The series ends with climbing Mt. Washington. She already did the bike leg of a team triathlon in San Francisco this spring. Makes me tired just thinking about it.

Yep. It's a huge ride. Never have done it, but have wanted to. Have done the Bicycle Tour of Colorado several times. Same concept-point to point ride. Less partying-more hurting. Mountain passes are a leg killer, especially for a flat lander.

If you like to paddle down a river this race is for you. Home
I almost did it one year buy my partner got a divorce and dropped out during our training. I couldn't do it by myself and couldn't find another fool.

75* going to 86*. Not bad, except instead of a breeze, we have a downright gale, and no chance of rain with it.
