Backhoe Finally broke down and got a Mechanical Thumb for my BH77

1 and 1/2 years after purchasing my L3200 with BH77 backhoe, I finally did what I should have done when I bought it......I got the Mechanical Thumb for the backhoe!!! here are a few pics of it in the box and after unpacking. last night I went ahead and took the bucket loose for the installation I plan to do this afternoon. I will update the installation process as I go. Shouldn't be much to it, so wish me luck!:smurf:

Have fun playing with it!! I just put a Bro-Tek mechanical thumb on my B77 a couple weeks ago.

O.K.....So here are the pics of the Thumb install. Really quite simple actually, and after I was done I actually played around with it for a while, and it was awesome being able to pick up anything I wanted to! Great purchase. Hope you-all enjoy the pics of the installation.

It looks properly T-rex now, I'm loving my mech thumb on my BH65. I grabbed hold of a half rotted log the other day and carted it out to the burn pile like it was a twig.

I played around with it after I installed it, and grabbed a few trees that had been blown down in a storm. It was freakin awesome how easily it picked up the trees and logs, and I am soooo glad I got the Thumb. Glad to hear yours was a good investment too. Gotta love those attachments that work like they should!! :smurf:

Yep I was using it again the past two days clearing downed trees, just grab the 20 foot thing with the BH and start chopping with the chain saw, throw the rounds in the FEL and wheel them over to my burn pile.
