Does anyone know how to set up an ignition timing light on a diesel s2600 engine? What kind of timing light connects to the diesel line?

Diesel timing cannot be adjusted using a timing light. There is no spark to adjust, only the injection occurrence itself.

The timing of injection, at least for the type of engine in question, comes from the injection pump.

That is not entirely true. You can clamp a pressure transducer to an injector line that converts the pressure change to an electric signal for the timing light. I have one and it does work, though spill timing is much easier in my opinion.
