I did it to mine 2 years ago, way helpful when your out bush-hoggin and break a pin or something. I bought a new set of tools for it with pins and hardware etc. Your gonna love it :)

Exactly, learned that with my last tractor. I already needed a new lynch pin for my box blade and had to go to the barn to get it ... Not anymore since i finally installed the box.

I like to keep extra hitch pins, lynch pins, Bent hitch pins, a hammer, several kinds of pliers, long flat screwdriver, and a crescent wrench...along with a few rags.

What do u guys keep in your box?

Since I robbed the box off my dead CubCadet and put it on the R4010, and since I got a live replacement for the dead CubCadet, today I was mounting a new toolbox and winch battery on it. So, I will have to figure out which things I need to double up on so I don't have to shift stuff every time I switch tractors. I am lucky to have two Warn winch controls, so one in each box for when that tractor has the box blade with the winch mounted on it.

Certainly a hammer.
Drift pin punch.
Big wire cutter.
Fence pliers (and the several other kinds too).
At least a ten inch adjustable wrench, and a six inch one too.
A flat bar.
Pins of all sorts.
A 4 in 1 screwdriver, a big straight slot, and a #3 Phillips.
Chainsaw wrench.
Webbing strap for chaining up to trees.
TP (that pays off sometimes).

What I added to the LS that the CC didn't have was a chain box. I will have to figure out where on the CC I can add one.

That's something that I had added to my Kioti, still need to add to my LS.

I'm currently in the "brainstorming " phase for a cage/cab frame that I'm going to build, I will be incorporating a chain/cargo box into it somewhere.

Anyone have ideas on where to get a cheap plastic or fiberglass alternative to a canopy that I can use for the roof?

Canopies aren't cheap!

Do you have plans to put the triangle back on?

Though I transferred the canopy from my old CC to the newer one, I really have problems with that stock model. I almost think a straight piece of plywood would be better. The canopy has a little rain gutter all the way around it and tiny drain holes at each rear corner. When you are going down slope, all the water goes to the front gutter and comes down like a waterfall when you hit the slightest bump. I will use plywood when I put one on the LS.

TSO,
I like the pics of your LS there. I noticed you have two pairs of rear remotes. Did your tractor come with them or did you add them later? I tried to PM but for some reason I was not able to. Maybe I need to have a minimum number of posts first. Thanks, Bruce

A friend of mine used the 'cap' from an old 70s-80's chevy blazer to cut up for the canopy he put on his dozer.... came out nice!

Hi Bruce - one of the nice things about buying LS right now, you get alot of bang for your buck! The tractor comes standard with dual rear-remotes, rear-worklight, and a 7-pin wire harness at the rear.
