replacing a front hub

has anyone replaced the front hub on a BX1850D ,wondering how much is involved . also wondering if the crack in mine is a common problem ?? thanks

Have a picture?? I just replaced the seals on my axle front pivot points and if it is this are, there should me no issues.

Thanks No picture yet but it is the lower hub that holds the wheel and I will replace the seal (that allows it to turn) also . Did you replace one seal for each side ,or the seals (O rings) on the center pivot ? Irishgb
