Thanks I asked the price of a work light at the local massey dealer, they wanted $90 + for a light with a switch and a bulb in it. I might have to try this.

No problem. Those dealership lights can be a rip off. I think Kubota wanted $70 for a rear light for the BX.

$85 for my MX5100 and I'm pretty certain the same light as yours. The Kubota light has a nice switch but not really that great of a light and I recall it was just a bulb in a nice orange metal housing. The approach in this thread allows the use of a much better light combination.
