My dealer says they are getting a New PT100F this February sometime. Supposed to be 110HP and have a hydraulic cooling fan.... I think the rest is the same as the current PT100G's.

Anyone else heard of this???

I saw one at the TCI expo, this year in Baltimore. It was a nice machine and had more creature comforts compared to my PT100F. It was in fact 110 HP.

Thanks Grateful but that thread is mostly about the PT100G, with one mention of a newer model coming.

Johnnybee did you happen to take a picture of it?

Id love to get a 299D, T870, PT100F, and a TL12 out in the field side by side in the field with the same head and see how they all compare.

I just looked at one the other day. That hydraulic cooling fan is variable and they claim draws less than half of the HP off the motor than the older PT's

I have one picture... This one had a Loftness Head. The rep said the package was about 130K.... photo (15).jpg

The ASV / Terex has earned a bad reputation over the last few years. They will really have to market that machine and improve customer service and satisfaction to sale many of them. I would be scared of one until I heard a lot of positive feedback on it.

I think this is the most valuable post on this thread.
I bought one of the 1st PT100G's out in 2011, and it was a nightmare. Terex did finally give me a new machine, that I sold at a loss so that I wouldn't have to deal with the local dealer here.
I'm not saying that Terex couldn't build a decent machine, I'm just saying that a customer shouldn't have to threaten to see a lawyer to get them to take care of them.
