Great story and thanks for sharing. Wish you the best.

Yes, no down time is great. Actually works out well cause our "actual" severance amount amounted to about 3 months of pay. Boy uncle sam is going to love me this year![]()
Well...a little update.
All is well so far. Lots left to learn thats for sure. Also a little dissappointed that none of their facilities have real machine shops in them.
No welders, mills, lathes, nothing. They contract that all out.
thats all for now.
Its kinda "no-news-is-good-news" at the moment.
Travelling all over for "training", so not much updates to anything yet. Wont really know anything about our "ohio" plant until I start working there and we open in mid march. I've still got 5 more weeks of travel AFTER this week. Looking forward to warmer weather in arizona though![]()
Hey LD1 how far away is that place? I just lost my job today,Our place was bought out 1st of December by one of our major competitors & said they wanted to keep everything going the same, the first of the year no pay increase per old company. OK so this AM I'm usually 3rd one in door in AM so I didn't see them but by 7there were couple Rentacops there. Then at 9:20 I got a little slip of paper said Meeting at 9:30 be in conference room. SO needless to say myself and about 25 others were cut our of the plant... Getting 5 weeks severance so then I can get me an Obama phone and 99 weeks of DOLE. (or go find me a J O B somewhere in rural depressed Ohio...)
PM me
