Can anyone ID this Yamaha Snowmobile?

Here is a Yamaha snowmobile hit by a car. We believe it is a 1992 model but no other identifying info could be found. Anyone know the model, engine size, and where I can find a value?

Does the crankcase oil capacity (250cc) indicate that it's a 250cc 4 cycle engine? 2 stroke?

If it is a twin cyl. It is a 340

Take the serial number of the machine to a Yamaha dealer and he will be able to tell you the year and model.

I couldn't find any IDing info on it and the guy who owned it doesn't know poop about it (he took it in trade for some work a guy couldn't pay for). It's a Yamaha and it ran. That's all we know.

You're just guessing because it says Ovation in big letters on the side of the chassis.
I had to google 1992 Yamaha Ovation (to check out your post) before I recognized the name stickers. Good job!
