Just checking to be sure..there have been many references the "flat earth society" in this thread, but I thought your mention of a "flat world society" could be new and exciting instead.

Personally...I think we all (liberties taken) should "take a break" and change direction of the thread...

Since this thread has been around so long and was started by a contributing member that (IMO) is as close to being "beyond reproach" as any fourum member can be...we should not let those that continually try to make an entirely politically motivated discussion make it any worse than the "wizzing contest" it has become...

[My suggestion]

I ask that we change the tone and direction of this particular thread back to it's original intent...That being our own personal observations of the changing climate/seasons...And NOTHING more...

I suggest using a different existing thread or starting a new one (possibly in the restricted forum) to make exchanges in either scientific, religious or political nature (by any stretch of the imagination)...I would like to see this thread continue for the reasons I mentioned and to possibly make it a milestone for TBN...

If you think this thought is worthy don't bother acknowledging, just start posting your own observations...without controversial or biased tones and undertones...

Forget the "prominent scientists" for a moment. I just read a newspaper and know more than those that can't admit the truth, that we have impacted our climate. Oh, and as far as those "prominent scientists that don't support GW"' the shills for big business go, they aren't "scientists", they are your methane producers. You should have lashed yourself to a pier during Sandy, gathered your believers along with you and explained your position to ever changing mother nature.
