How will you cope with the snow this winter?

I'll cope with the snow by living below the snowline. Then, drive the hour 15 minutes to Tahoe, ski all day, and come home below the snowline :D

I love the snow to visit, but I don't know how you guys live in it.

I always wonder, how do the Ekimo, and how did the Native Americans of the Northern Plains live in heavy snow in teepee's...
They didn't they were the first "snow birds":)

Nice location!- We barely made it below 0 last winter. Must be the further inland you folks are from the coast. We are level with the top of VT and NH.

Love those seasonal views!

I'll move it the way I have for years, plow on an ancient Suzuki 4wd ATV and FEL on my Deere. Really would love to put a plow on the Ram 2500 (and stay warm/dry while plowing) but my budget keeps interfering for some odd reason.

Having done the "plow all night" thing in Maine for a lot of years, central Ohio merely requires a a 4WD pickup to get out of the yard and a tractor with 18.4 rear radials to pack down something more severe. For serious blizzards, I leave an 8 ft landscape rake on the back of the big tractor and it works like a charm. The landscape rake, often called a rock rake is the snow warrior's secret weapon because it does a really great job "plowing" moderate amounts of snow.
Here's a pic of the landscape rake during a blizzard a few years ago.

40 below is forty below and you don't need any converter for that. That's colder then a witches....... um.... Heart! and cuts like a razor with a bit of wind fetching from Killington or Camels hump.

Not much you want to do at -40 outside but I cope with a BX22 51" meteor 3pt snow blower and front quick attach blade! Move and blow it away! When that is done I hit the VAST trails on my snowmobile! Don't have a pic of the tractor in winter but here is a trail pic

For those whoo have never been outside at 35 below, it's quite a treat. The snow squeeks and crunches and seems to scream in anguish. It's difficult to walk. People who say that 5 below and 35 below are little different have never been there or done that. The good news is a warm plow truck makes it all better and plowing is a dream with no fear of digging up the grass.

Back in the 1970's when cars were built less durable then today, the road on the way to work would have an occasional part of a leaf spring laying in the road from someone that either forgot or didn't know to take it easy until things warmed up a bit. The only snow weapon where those temps are possible is a cab tractor with a good heater or a nice plow truck, same warm heater, and a blade on the front.

Ive decided to install a heated dome over my entire 20 acres this year, so i can stay seated in my beach chair and shorts while watching the neighbors shovel their property.
