Not saying I would want to buy one of these rabbit rifles but would shoot it once for the experience. Looks like these guys are getting a real kick out of it, especially in the shoulder.

I don't care for it that much. It's like a cartoon weapon designed to set some record and post youtube videos. Much more impressive to me is this weapon designed to shoot Vulcan rounds, among others.

Question.. do you need a class III license to own that loudenboomer? I was thinking anything over .50 cal was classed as a destructive device requiring. a tax stamp and all the paperwork. Does anyone know?. Not that I am considered one, I really don't need a dislocated shoulder.:)

James K0UA

James, that was my understanding also. That guns over 50 cal required a special license.

I saw the video a couple of weeks ago. I don't think my shoulder would take it.

Having been the trigger man (landyard) on an 8" howitzer, that's 200mm, not much impresses me. (Did I mentione that even with ear plugs, I cannot hear squat?) Though, I do have a fondness for a good old ma' duece.

Put aside your girly-man .458 Win Mag or your wimpy .50 cal and watch guys shoot a real gun,

Cool gun but ill take my .50bmg over this. This gun wouldnt hold a candle to the .50bmg for long range and accuracy so i wouldnt call it wimpy. This gun would gun for large african game like elephants or something though. There is a rifle available that does take the cake and that would be the anzio 20mm Uses the same cartritdge used in CIWS onboard ships

You dont need a class 3 license unless you want to sell restricted weapons. You only need to pay required tax after getting atf approval

I have never seen any restrictions on caliber on the national level, some other countries do and some states do but i do not believe it is an ATF issue.

Whoops, In the eyes of the BATFE the rifle is not a firearm per definition, it is an Artillery projector. In other words a canon a destructive device, and falls under NFA rules
