AGCO pdf manuals are locked

Now I did just the opposite. I purchased the hard copy. It came as a loose leaf manual so I pull the pages of interest and scan them and then I can take them with me. Yes it is a lot more work. I agree with everyone, They should have them where a person can have them on a tablet and be able to print a page. If you pay for them you should be able to do what you need to do with them.

If you only need copies of a few pages, all you have to do is adjust the page size to fit the screen and then use the snipping tool in Windows to capture an image of the text to your desktop and then print that image.

Uh, I learned something new today.. thank you. I Knew about Ctrl-Prtsc. but I had never really played with the snipping tool. Thanks Again.

you might be able to use the PDFill program to turn pages into jpegs and reorder them into your own PDF. I use the free version to take jpeg scans from my flatbed scanner and make a single pdf with multiple pages.

Great idea. You may also be able to use "Quick PDF Tools" which can convert PDF files to jpegs and jpegs into pdf files. Handy tool. Have never tried it with protected pdfs.

I have adobe acrobat professional so I can do either from that program. James how much rain did you end up with? We got a total of around an inch. Pretty good shower late this afternoon. Sure is a welcome site.

I don't understand why all companies don't let you have access to pdf files. My wife bought a new Krone 4 basket Tedder last week, went to Krone downloaded all the manuals and literature for free. Has bought a JD 5065M tractor the month before and they want like $180 for the pdf files. PDF files are really handy in that you put them on a laptop or iPad and have access to them most anywhere you might need them. They preach and preach safety but want to sell you a spare manual or pdf. I can get a pdf for $20 radio but not a $30K something tractor. If they're afraid we're going to sell them put a watermark on them like Canon does with their pdf manuals.

Yes it's crazy. You can download free manuals for all kinds of stuff you own but the tractor manufactures are very (too) protective of them. I would think that they would at least give you the operators manual but they won't even part with that
