HELP WITH KUBOTA B6000 AND A 3 PT HITCH SPLITTER

What is the lift capability of the loader?
What hyd requirements does the tiller require.
Now, the capability of the loader is based on the metal thickness, pressure, GPM's, mechanical connections, cyl bore, etc.
Different buckets will even change things. The force is usually measured at the bucket pins.
The hyd tiller will be based on the HP developed by the hyd motor using a certain pressure and volume. Any hyd pump can run hyd cyl and motor if you meet minimum requirements, Any more pressure and volume could make it better.
There is a happy place somewhere when things are working as advertised.

Unfortunately JJ (thanks again for the advice), I only have the tractor's parts and operator's manual. I don't have a manual for the loader. I know when the Seller delivered it to me last month, he had no trouble lifting the 600lb ballast out of the back of his pick up. I know the three point hitch uses the tractor's hydraulics and the loader uses a belt driven pump. I don't know for sure when the fluids were changed last so I started the hydraulic fluid change this morning.
I found, according to manual, the filter is just a bolt??? So I removed both drain plugs, drain all the hydraulic fluid and then removed the filter(bolt), expected to see a screen of some kind, but no just a bolt with a hole in it and two washers.
Am I missing something. I could not find it my part manual. But found the motor oil filter information in the parts manual and it appears that has a similar set up, but with a screen. Haven't attacked oil/filter change yet as I just found out I purchased the wrong gear oil (GL-5) and need to return it and get the proper gear oil, UDT, I guess, even though the manual said 80W-90 .
What was troubling late yesterday and that we built a fire pit, so I had to move some gravel to the area in the back yard with tractor and the loader was having trouble lifting small amount of gravel and the higher I went, there was a jerky motion along with a very slow response. That's why I decided to do the fluid change this morning.
I have tilled, using the 6000 on three occasions and when the hydraulic tiller is working the loader does not, but the three point hitch works, if this helps any. I hope after the fluid change, it will solve my problem and it was just air bound and not a pump failure issues! Very strange, as I have been messing with tractors for 25 years or so!!!

After the hydro fluid was changed, I hooked up the splitter and it works like a champ. It is a bit slow (like me!) but very powerful even at half throttle. I just have a couple more questions....
Should there be screen on the Hydraulic Filter "bolt"? I did an oil change and that bolt has a long screen on it???
Also, my loader still seems to be a bit air bound and lacks lift capacity now since I have used the splitter. Even disconnecting the hoses on the splitter doesn't seem to help, any clues???? Thanks for all the help guys!

Just cycle the loader until the air is purged.
If you continue to have air problems, then check and re-tighten the suction hose fittings/clamps.
Install a hyd pressure gage in the system and check some pressures.

That... is not a very big splitter. I have topped out a 35 ton splitter on some particularly big and knotty wood before.

Well problem solved. A friend who has a tractor restoration business stopped by today, great guy BTW! He was impressed by the splitter and I told him about my loader issues. Now keep in mind, I don't have a Kubota Loader manual (kind of like my excuse!), he said the splitter cylinder / lines used quite a bit of my existing fluid. I told him I did a gear fluid change. Ready for this, he said you changed the tractor's gear oil. I did not know the loader had a separate reservoir!!!!
He showed me the cap in the loader arm (right side), and explained that the loader arm was my hydraulic oil tank. He opened it and stuck a (clean) dowel down the loader arm to check fluid level. Needless to say, it was about 1/4 full. I hung my balding, 56 year old head in shame, filled the loader arm reservoir with about 3.5 quarts of gear oil, and guess what, the loader and splitter work like new! Thanks all!

hunt around ON the loader. if it is OEM the label should be on the left arm near the big hinge pin.

Are you sure gear oil is used in the loader hyd circuits?
