Needing rain bad. How bout you?

It is extremely hot and dry here. We are in need of rain, but the forecast shows no relief in site. How's your area doing?

It's dry here also. 92 degrees and 30% chance of rain. The creek is not flowing, only water remaining is in the deep pockets. Hopefully, everyone receives sufficient rainfall for their crops and gardens. Best wishes to everyone.

No rain here since June 4th. Hot and really dry, nothing in the forecast for the next several days. Temps going into the upper 90's by Friday. Weather gets more unpredictable every year it seems.

Rain? what is rain? havent seen any appreciable amounts since Easter. We are in extreme drought now. Need some bad. I know the folks in Florida are getting too much now, but we sure could have used the tail end of that...

Same here in my part of Ga. We were hoping to get some rain from this tropical storm in Fla. but it does not look good...we have a 10% chance...Yesterday it was 98 deg...in the afternoon ...it is hot again today...no relief in sight...Our spring that feeds our pond stopped a couple of months ago..the pond is down about 6 inches.

Rained the 2nd or 3rd of June here in the TN Valley area, bone dry since! Corn is starting to burn and if you got it in late, really stunted. Some of the soybean crops look pretty good, others, not so much...

James I will double your offer of rocks. No rain only one poor cutting of hay and since nothing is growing watering the garden that never has had a rain and even the weeds are stunted grass not growing.

We were Blessed last week with about 3"-5" from a storm coming through from NC. And then about 2" fell Friday evening. None since and none due until next week..very hot.

Although we are Blessed with water, we are being "crushed" by insects. Grasshoppers are of Biblical proportions with our greens and basil covered with them, as well as the fields. We also have a heavy influx of stink/squash bugs, snails, slugs, and a striped beetle that are in colonies on our tomatoes. Thank God we also have more Dragon Flies than I have seen in my life and those Blessed Lady Bugs. Thankful too for the more than normal snakes so no rodent population.

Central Indiana, haven't seen any rain in 6-8 weeks. The weather guys keep puting it in the forcast every 4 or 5 days in the future, but when that day comes nothing.
Buddy at work was home last week when it rained at his house and his whole family was outside playing in it, it was such a big deal. I'm guessing we wont see any real rain till after July/August.. Crops around here are doomed.

This morning as I drove out I saw the last week or so has really hurt the grass in the pasture for my horses... All we've got was a few sprinkles...

Saturday, working on my "creekbed" project I could see the small pond I was making the creekbed as a drainage system for had fallen a good 8-12 inches below the entry to the "creekbed"... My creekbed's gonna be dry for a while I 'spect...

I would LOVE for it to rain 2-3 weekdays this week, then stop for a bout 10 days so I can get some stuff done (If'n I'm wish'n for a turnip, mights well wish for the whole truck!)...

I hope everyone gets some rain to keep everything healthy...

We have a cooler and wetter :umbrella-guy: June in many years.
In the interior of BC they are dealing with flash flooding and swollen rivers. The Fraser River is expected to be the highest in 40 years. Some areas have evacuation watch or orders. Heard one person died yesterday when a town had a flash flood and was covered by a few feet of fast moving water.
Guess it's not so bad at our place, no floods nor forest fires :fire:.

Currently 100 degrees this afternoon. I watered the yard from 6 to 9 p.m. yesterday and 6 to 8 a.m. today. And as with others, no relief in sight.
