Kioti CK30
I went out this evening for my first run doing tractor work. Just picked up a box scraper from my neighbor. Someone should have told me these things are so much fun! What I got done in just over an hour would have taken me months. Actually it probably would have never happened. I filled in some holes where I pulled out stumped a couple years back. I pushed a big pile of rocks off the road and I scraped our whole driveway which is fair size. Did I mentioned I didn't break a sweat?!

I attached some pictures. Just like any CK30 I suppose except this one is mine.

One question though. I don't think my tac works correctly. It seems to only go to 500rpm and not go much higher if at all. Any thoughts on this?

Your tractor looks great bt, and looks like a nice place ya got. As far as your tach- it should be idling higher than 500 rpm, and I'm sure your running higher than that with your BB on, so something may not be working right there. Also, go ahead and slap up your ROPS for grins and giggles. Ya never know when you might need it up.

Using your tractor to complete tasks, most definitely gives the operator a satisfied feeling. Can you imagine having a FEL and all the possible future tasks that you would be able to complete using one. Best wishes.

The tractor looks very sharp and trim and a bit smaller without the loader on there. I wonder how many they actually sell without a loader?

My son and I were discussing just that today. My guess is that probably half the compact tractors sold have an FEL.

Yep, sure looks naked without that loader Brandon. Bet you can't wait.....
Yep, mine idles at 10500 rpm and most of my work is around 2000 up to about 2200. Never had to go more than that although some say you should as it is harmful if you don't. Still going great after 7 years.

What some may be missing is the Federal Law that mandates if you are over 50 years old and have or get a tractor it must have a FEL..
Worked for me anyway.

Well, it "would" be a good law... and I'm sure they will pass one someday..

Your life just a whole lot easier...enjoy.

I'm cracking up at some of the comments here.

Thanks I have been like a kid in a candy store. creekbend, oh I've thought about what I can do and imagined already. I have it all planned out. The crime will be what to do when that's done? :) I tell you the grin on my face still won't go away when riding it. My wife drove it last night. I had the driveway looking pretty good for my first time. She messed it all up but she had a great time. She turned around and said I can't wipe the smile off my face. lol I think she likes it too. As for the driveway... Looks like I'll have some more seat time!

Yes, I can't wait for the FEL but I'm very thankful for what I have already. My other job I started a car biz and I'm waiting for one of them to sell (small timer) that's my fun money. Read: Loader. I've already gotten quotes from the three dealers fairly close.

By the way, This tractor was originally equipt with a loader. The dealer had taken it off to put it on another tractor. So she did, but she didn't kinda thing. The PO already had a CK25 but apparently liked it so much he had boughten this CK30. Sold it to me as he is downsizing. 32 hours and got it for $6750. I don't think that's too bad a deal.

Thanks,
Brandon

That price sounds like a great deal. Although, my tractor came with a FEL, I had to navigate my finances in order to purchase my other implements. In due time, all your dreams are sure to become realities. One day at a time. Best wishes in regards to all your future endeavors.

You will think you have died and gone to heaven when you get your FEL.. then get a set of pallet forks to go on the Quick Attach and it starts all over again. a loader with Quick Attach (QA) is just so useful for all sorts of things. I use mine all the time. I have heard a grapple is another level of joy.. one I have sadly not experienced.. but maybe some day:)

Good luck with your new Kioti. and welcome to the "pack"

Congratulations :jump: :applause: on your new tractor.
I have a 6 ft box blade and it sure makes working on our private road just a tad easier than using a shovel and rake.

To those that commented on the ROPS. I'll be putting it up from now on. Thanks for the warnings though but I planned on it. No reason not too.

Be sure to save the pic of your barn, that way, when you park your new tractor in the barn and forget to put the ROPS down... :D

Congrats on the tractor, it's a nice rig!

God I love that! I wish I would have used it on my wife - wouldn't have had to wait until the free loader promo to get the new tractor!!
