We have a Kubota L5240 with a LA854 front loader and L2276 72" square back bucket that I have stiffened and mounted a grapple. I want to buy pallet forks and am considering buying a 4-in-1 bucket to replace the standard bucket. (I should have ordered a quick-attach with the 5240.)
I have a 3rd function valve to operate the bucket grapple or the snow-blower chute elevation and believe that will operate the 4-in-1 bucket.
Is it possible to convert a pin-on LA854 loader to quick attach?
Does anyone have experience and/or opinions about Kubota or 3rd party pallet forks and 4-in-1 buckets suitable for the L5240?
I use and love a Kubota front-mount snow blower in the winter. Because it takes quite a bit if time to remove the blower and mount the front loader, the loader seldom gets used in the winter. With a quick-attach, is it possible to leave the loader on, (and somehow held in a fixed position -- the snow blower uses all the hydraulics) with the blower mounted. Would the blower interfere with the loader arms? Is leaving the loader arms on with the blower a practical idea?
