Frosty again this morning. Nice looking day with lots of sun but still on the cool side, with a high of only 17C or 63F.

64 degrees now, simply a beautiful day, car and tractor are washed and shining. Came in to feed the cats, now back out to hook up trailer wiring to my Buick. Put the hitch on late last fall and never got around to installing the wiring hookup.

The Buick looks great!

My son and I are at PDX airport awaiting our flight home. It has been a hard week, but rediscovering my sibs, and candidly my own adult son, has been, and will be a huge blessing.

I wish it had not taken tragedy to make this so...

Well it is after half ten at night now and I've had a super busy day... Not!

Oh well, thank crunchie it is Friday anyway! Tomorrow is the weekend, which hopefully means I'll get some nice garden weather so I can tidy up (talk about sugar coating) the vegetable plot, which has been used as a litter box by the local cats.

All over my spinach and everything... Ugh, thinking about it makes me retch.

I might also give my Vacuum Cleaners (I collect them) a service and general clean up.

I don't mind waking up a bit later on Saturday and Sunday, but it doesn't mean I don't like being busy.

There are a lot of people (my mother included) that just get up and sit in their robes watching TV 'till noon on a weekend, but not me.

As soon as I'm out of bed, I'm fully dressed. I just can't stand being awake but not dressed.

Right, I think I'll go get me a cup of tea and a biscuit, sorry, cookie!

Hey, ditto Thomas' comment about mowing.... I'll also be at it for the first time tomorrow, most likely. Getting a bit tall in one area, but a lot of the lawn is just beginning to come up. Life in the hills! Kinda nasty at times in the winter, but I'll take the 10-15 degrees cooler (than "downtown") in the summer anytime!:thumbsup: Leaves in the trees are finally beginning to block out all sight of the neighbors' houses. Nice 'n' private, in the summer....

Yup, we have a dishwasher...but rarely use it. The kings of the house eat off china plates, while the servants (us) make do with paper plates. Too much bother to wash a dozen cat dishes in the dishwasher every day....:laughing:

Deere looks great...would you believe it has 955 hours on it?

I've had the 2011 Mountfield SP414 Self Propelled push mower going since mid February and I'm now having to mow every 4-5 days.

With your bitty postage stamp size lawn you could just buy a gas powered weedeater to do it....
