Bent Exhaust

Last fall I got too close to a walnut branch and bent my vertical exhaust.
Took it to a muffler shop to get it straightened. They had 2 acetaline torches on it glowing orange and weren't able to straighten it. Ordered a new one from Massey and instead of directing the exhaust to the right away from the operator, like the original, comes back in your face this one directs it forward so the exhaust comes back in your face.
The metal used is very, very heavy and has some kind of ultra powder coating on it that is extremely resistant to rust. I tried to cut it so it could be turned 90ｺ away from me. Recip saw just bounced around and I don't own a cut off saw. Even if I could cut it don't think it could be welded due to the coating.
Any thoughts?

I kinda like the raked back look of the original bent one! Why do you want to replace it? Is it leaking or is it crushed so that it's restricted ? If it's not, I'd just live with it. Might want to trim the branches on that walnut tree also.

Before you cut the limb, put the old exhaust back and run it back through the same limb from the opposite direction, in reverse.

Really, I probably would leave it alone too. Battle scar, you know? :laughing: Sometimes you win, sometimes the limbs win!
