Picked up the new 5035 HST in Fl last Thursday morning and had it at our NC mountain place by that evening. Only got to use it for 2 days but it'll be there waiting when I return.

This equipment pushed the absolute limit of that 18' trailer. New trailer may be in the future.

Awesome photo with the grapple, a very capable looking machine you have there! Safe tractoring.

Thanks Mike476. Still need to fill the rears. All of my supplies weren't here in time to do it this weekend but it's getting done on the next trip. That grapple is to aggressive to NOT have some serious ballast on the rear. As you can see from the photo, out place has some serious slopes as well which get hairy without a lot of weight to the ground.

See you have an electric switch for your grapple valve on the side of your FEL control. Plus, two rear remote levers right up there next to it, too. Nice setup....!!!!! Enjoy.. :)

Where in NC did you say that was? And how do you know it will be there?

Thanks. The addition of the rear remotes was entirely due to the insight gained from reading this forum. They won't get used right away but I hope to use this tractor for quite some time and wanted to be prepared for future needs.

Another "grappled up" 5035. Very nice and congrats Flatpik!
Ya, definitely get the rears filled prior to tackling big stuff.
Have fun!

Nice pics...I looked at the web site for the Brush Raker grapple that you have. I couldnt find the same one on their site. Was this special order? how heavy is it? Im in the market and that design is perfect for what I want to do, limited stumping, moving logs, debris, rocks, and cleaning out the paddock after the horses make a mess of the hay. Anything you can tell me would help.

I have a 5035 PST and also have a grapple for my SS. Some day I will add the necessary hydraulics to my 5035 to use the grapple with it. Would you mind explaining how the 2 additional levers and switch on the joystick work to operate the grapple. Thanks.

Blamo, the grapple is BR series BR75GSS. It is a 7 shank and weighs 650 lbs. Here is a link: BRSeries

This thing is a beast. Quite heavy duty. The only thing I don't like is that there is not a good method of controlling the hoses while in use. We are in the process of coming up with a way to manage them without constricting their ability to move freely. They have a tendency to get impinged in the grapple mechanism the way they are out of the box.

Very cool! Be sure and post some pics and let us know what you think of it. I'll be curious to know what implements you choose to go with.

I sure will take some pics and let you all know what I think. Implements won't come in until next week: box blade, bale spear, skid plate (really would love a winch but, $$$$), and I am looking at the Wildkat 48" grapple. I really liked the Brush Raker grapple but again, $$$$. I need something that will do it all fairly well, is lite, and will allow me to not have to sleep on the sofa.

I'll be especially interested in the Box Blade you choose since that is something I have to get soon.
