Box Scraper County line from TSC

For a small tractor they work fairly well. I have a 5' and it does well behind my little B3200 and Ford NAA. Those are about as big of a tractor as I'd use them on though. Quality was pretty good, good paint and decent welds. It was one of the heaviest among the 'cheap' box blades (a little under 450lbs I think) which is important. For what I use it for I could probably use an even heavier one yet, something in the 600lb range, but it works good enough. I also got it pretty cheap with a combo of coupons and discounts.

I don't know if it's exactly the same as the 5' Leinbach I use, which was bought at our local Tractor Supply some years ago, but it should be at least very similar, & it's strong enough to break my tractor's 3-pount hitch while not breaking or even bending itself  The (kinda long) story:

At my local TSC, I have asked the manager if they had a discount price or sale price available. The manager always had a 10% or more discount to offer or a suggested way to save a few bux on a big ticket item.

I use their five foot box blade with two reversible cutting edges on a 52 hp tractor. It has held up well. I have done some damage to it but I can only blame myself for abusing it. If I wear this one out I would buy another one because of the price.

From what I have heard it seems to be a regional thing. Around here they send out mass mailings of sale flyers, coupons, etc various times during the year. Some places never get anything. I guess start by asking at the store if any coupons or sales are going on.

On my box blade I negotiated 10% off the price because it had a broken scarifier tooth, then had a coupon for a little bit more off.

I get coupons in my email from them also but like foggy said, most times if you talke with the manager, they will give you at least 10% off if not more. I have gotton up to 25% on some items, probably stuff they have had for a while.

TSC versus Fleet Farm products , looking for a 3pt carryall they both have them ,$10 differnce for price, both have same carry cap. but TSC says it weights is 97#'s and Fleet Farm says theirs is 75#'s are they both the same brand or is TSC's made stronger? And are most of both there products made by the same manufacturer?

I bought the 4' County Line BB from TSC and it's held up very well. I was a total tractor newbie when I bought it and didn't know at the time that it was a category 0 which didn't line up with my HF quick hitch on my BX2660. After some modifications I got it to work. I also wish it was heavier but I did get 15% off since it had been sitting out for a while and had a few minor scrapes and rust spots.

I just bought one yesterday. Built very well, and i used it today. Redid the drive to the house and used it to scrap out a couple mud spots. Then put down about 15 tons of gravel. And used the box blade to spread it out before the final leveling out. I didnt have any coupons but asked and they gave me 10% my total sale.
