Many years I saw an very good movie about a horse, but I can't remember the title. I do remember the title was also the name of the horse. The story went somethng like this:
This young man was running from the bad guys, The time was sometime in the old West as I recall. He stopped at the home/ranch of a friend to get a horse, or a fresh horse as the case may be. In order to make his escape, he had to cross some very dangerous terrain and a mountain range, so he needed a very good horse and told his friend the same. The friend said he would give him his best horse.
When he brought out the horse, it was a skinny, scraggly looking thing that looked like it wouldn't make it very far at all. He said, "I thought you were giving me your best horse". The friend replied: "This is my best horse. Take my word for it. He will do anything you want him to". Turns out he was a super horse and did some incredible things to get the guy where he was going. Not much, and details are a little fuzzy, but it's probably been 40 years since I saw the movie. Ring a bell with anyone?
