Great game, right up to the end, but for me, the best part was the Clint Eastwood ad for Chrysler. Really great stuff.

Oh, BTW, my nephew's wife was involved with the vampire commercial. I forget what car it was. Last year, my nephew worked on the animation for one of the super bowl commercials, as well. Talented kids.

I was hoping that Clint's commercial had been paid for by all of the US automakers. Either way it was a powerfull message done with class and Eastwood is a class act.

That's what I thought it was leading up to, he never mentioned brand names, so i thought it was more of a public service ad. Even at the end the brand was not pushed hard so they did kind of include all of Detroit's efforts.

All I could think of was this is what our president should of been doing for the last 3 years. Not just for the auto business, but been a cheer leader for this country when we needed it most, but I can't recall him once doing that.
His greatest mistake IMO.

The baby in the sling shot thing was good to.

I couldn't believe they got Elton John in a pepsi commercial, I wonder what that cost them?

I liked that one too, I also like the Chevy one (end world) I already knew that but nice to see it anyway

I had to leave for work during the Madonna lip sinc thing, so I missed the rest, heard the game on radio and it "sounded" like a great finish.

Cheerleading is fine and has its place but actions speak louder than words and one only needs to look at a graph of jobs created to know how things have turned around.

The Clint Eastwood commercial was a Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat commercial. While I like Clint's movies (Gran Torino - a Ford product), can't say that I agree with the underlying message. 2 auto companies are now much more profitable than they should be because we, as US taxpayers, will be paying for the retiree health care bailout for decades to come. The sentiment was fine (America always fights back) but Chrysler is no more a US car company than Honda or Toyota. At least Fiat has better looking girls in their commercials.

My vote goes to the Fiat commercial where the girl turns out to be a car....hot!
